new blog: Let the Memories Begin! starts at Walt Disney World

Great blog!

Some observations...seems that many of the videos and pictures come straight from Youtube. Many of the pictures come from one family alone, the Wolf family. They have one of the most popular family videos on the web.

I thought the videos/photos were from the people who went to WDW on that day.

I have a question about the pictures being displayed. Is there a certain set time each evening when they start the "show"? I have seen the video that Corey took that was posted. Is it going to start off with that type introduction each evening? We will be there in March and I'm really looking forward to seeing it and I want to make sure if there is a time I need to be in front of the castle one evening to see it start.

TIA! Sorry if the question has already been asked and answered somewhere else. I haven't been able to find the answer!

I was prepared for Fantasyland to be under construction on our trip in March, but how long will Main Street be all boarded up as well?

That is the show. The effects will be the same but the pictures will be different. When we went it was at 7:40 and Wishes was at 8 PM.

Thanks Kathy. I don't know why I assumed they were showing the pictures all evening except for during the fireworks. :confused3

Anyway...we have the Wishes Dessert Party booked for one evening when we are there. So guess if we check in at the beginning of that event we will be there in plenty of time to see this show.

Watching the show from the Dessert party would be great. It was terrible with the people watching from the Hub in front of the Castle. Lots of nasty people.

Great. :thumbsup2 we will make sure we check in at the beginning of the dessert party so we can make sure we get to see the memories show.

Too bad about the people who were around you. This is the second time this week I have seen a comment on a thread about people around them being rude. I wonder if with the economy people are just more stressed and wound more tightly right now? Maybe it's a stretch financially to take vacation and they just aren't able to let go and relax? Or maybe people are just more rude these days. :confused3

That is the first time I ever saw this. In all my times watching a show or fireworks it was never like this. There was a person that decided to get into an argument with my adult daughter standing next to me.

Wow! Totally not cool. Sometimes I am amazed by the people I encounter each day. Hope everything calmed down quickly.
