Love the old pics. I remember riding the pack mules in 1971- one of the most vivid memories of DL I have when I was just 5.

The pictures are Michael and his Mother. They were taken on July 4th, 1959. He was a cutie who grew up to become my wonderful husband.

I have to say I loved that segment of the podcast!! I buy every Disneyland book with old pictures in it that I can find. I just started a collection of old Disneyland photos on the wall behind our sofa and keeping my eye out for more. If I had a time machine, that's where I would go- those early days of Disneyland. Thanks for a great segment!
