new blog: interactive queue at Winnie the Pooh

I loved the new queue! I did notice a few smaller kids that actually didn't want to go on the ride because they wanted to stay in line and play!

Can someone explain this to me a little bit? Is there a play area for kids whilst parents queue, or is it playing as you go along (like Space mountain)?

Looks very cool though! I love interactive queues!:thumbsup2

The new queue was cute but it seemed to me that the ride was traveling faster than it used to. Did anyone notice this or is it just me? The interactive toys are very loud but the kids loved them. The little ones really did want to stay in line and play. Just my 2 cents.

We had to drag my parents away . . .

There are a lot of interactive areas, including Owl's House (or is it Rabbit's), Eeyore's Gloomy Place, a vegetable garden with vegetables that make sound, sunflowers with bells for petals that ring when you spin them, a popping ball game, an area where you can jump on the ground and gophers pop up, a bee line (get it?! ;)) and, best of all, a series of Hunny walls - screens with virtual honey pouring down them that you can draw pictures in or clear to find the Pooh characters behind the screens.

I hadn't ridden it before in WDW (only Toyko and Hong Kong), so I'm not sure of the speed, but we did run into problems where the ride stalled and then didn't "float" through the flood. I'd already ridden it several times, so I knew there was a problem with the ride, but when I told the CM at the end of the ride, he just shrugged and looked at me blankly.

Wow! The new queue looks awesome. I can't wait to take my DS on this ride in November. He has been on it before but he'll be 2 by then and I think he will really Love :lovestruc it this time. Actually he is currently watching many adventures of pooh right now! :goodvibes
