Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World started a test of the FastPass+ today. Offsite and onsite guests will be able to make their FastPass+ selections at kiosks throughout the park. This is the first test where offsite guests to Walt Disney World are able to participate.

Odd that people arriving by bus did not get the flyer. How were they supposed to know that the testing procedure was underway, and how would they know how to work the system?

I'm curious how this will affect those of us who use the FP runner system. Instead of managing a small stack of paper tickets, someone (usually me) will now have to handle 8+ MB's.

We usually travel with friends who have absolutely no interest in registering with MDE and picking FP+ 60 days in advance. Here's hoping that this test is effective for those kinds of guests (off-site and day tripeprs as well) and they get the FP+'s they want the day of!

I think this was more of a test for offsite guests so that is why they got them at the auto plaza.
