Great article, and I agree completely, but sadly there will always be inconsiderate boors that think they are the only ones that matter and totally entitled to their behavior. :rolleyes1
 
I don't find it annoying at parades. I find it annoying in concerts. They don't really let you do that in indoor concerts, but festivals are usually do-what-u-want. Grown people sitting on other grown peoples shoulders at a festival is obnoxious.
 
I am going to say, by Disney's own doing, you do get exclusive use of the space above you.
