New Blog Alert! Pete Rode the Simpsons Ride!

Pete's got a new blog up! Guess he rode the new Simpsons ride at Universal today! Wonder if he had a podcast t-shirt on?

I'm not a fan of The Simpsons, sorry, I've tried, but I just don't get that show, but Universal created an amazing visual with everyone waiting in line wearing big blue Marge wigs! -- Noticed there wasn't a picture up of Pete in that wig though!

(Pssssssst, I'd pay someone money to see it though!)

Al Roker was in Orlando and was going to ride, however I had to leave for work before they showed it and did not get to see it. (Which is sad since I work at a NBC station.) dod anyone see it?

Truth be told, I'm a Family Guy fan much more than the Simpsons - but I still LOVED this ride. I really thought I was going to hate it, as Universal has a bad habit of slapping a new motif on an old attraction (Earthquake) and passing it off as something new. While the building itself is the same, they've changed up EVERYTHING else. I was laughing like crazy (which was really nice after two weeks of crying). This was a lot of fun - and it's a great addition to the park. If this is any indication of the kind of attention they're going to give to Harry Potter - watch out!!

When Universal does something right, they REALLY do it right. I can't wait to go there and try it out, even though it will be bittersweet. I actually liked BTTF (the movie and the ride) and the Simpsons has never been a show I got. I could go into a whole speech on that, but I'm working on not being a big-mouth. Anyway, thanks for the blog, Pete. It makes me miss my home state even more!!
