New birthday offer for AP holders

Have just been looking at the AP site and found this (I've translated it as for some reason the AP site is only in French)

You now have 2 special offers for your birthday when you are an AP holder - There's the free place for BBWWS valid for a visit during the month that your birthday is in

and .....(this is the new one )

Eat free in a selected restaurant for your birthday

Lunch offered at some restaurants Disney

Enjoy a lunch in some restaurants of the 2 Disney parks on your birthday week (up to 7 days before or after the date of your birthday).

Status of offer:
Reservations required 01 60 30 40 50. Offer valid until May 20, 2012, excluding blackout days of your AP
Offer valid for a lunch booked at the following restaurants: Plaza Gardens Restaurant, Agrabah Café, Lucky Nugget Saloon, Buzz Lightyear's Pizza Planet Restaurant, Rendez vous des stars, Silver Spur Steakhouse, Blue Lagoon, Walt's an American Restaurant, for a meal without drinks taken between 11:30 and 15h and subject to a minimum restaurant bill of 50 € (before discount).
For children (3-11 years inclusive), a children's menu will be offered, for adults either a buffet (appetizer, entree, dessert) or a special menu is offered at some restaurants with table service: menu at the Sheriff Silver Spur Steakhouse, menu Treasure of the Seas at Blue Lagoon and the menu appetizer, entree, dessert Walt's an American Restaurant. Schedules and opening restaurants are subject to change.
Offer valid only on presentation of your Annual Pass valid and proper identification.

So a few points -

-You have to reserve by phone in advance
-The other eater(s) with you must have ordered over 50€ of food/drink before you get your meal free.
So for someone on their own it's not doable or worth it and that's really bad
-It's a set menu that you get for free
-There is no AP discount or Shareholders discount on the rest of the meal

Hopefully someone will be able to give it a go soon and report back

These new offers for AP holders are excellent and might sway me to finally get an AP for next year. Thanks for sharing all the info - I'm sure this is great news for existing AP holders

They have updated this offer and it's now 50€ minimum for the whole table and that includes the birthday person who will be getting the free meal

Offre valable pour un repas, hors boisson, pris entre 11h30 et 15h et sous condition d'un montant minimum de commande de 50€ (y compris les consommations du bénéficiaire de l'offre anniversaire).

They must have realised that it was a bit unfair for people on their own or just a couple as it would have meant eating for 82,60€ at Walt's for example, in order to benefit from the offer.

So we will be checking it out in August but if anyone else has the chance before then I hope you have a great time

when Im down there, and call them the day before, I eat for free (if the bill is over 50 euro before discount?)
