new bag tags didn't come and we leave in the morning

We leave in the morning and I we never got our new baggage tags. Our delta flight got canceled so we had to get new flights. We have the old ones still and we are still at the same resort. Can we use those. I don't want to give them our bag claim tickets because then they have to go to the round about and I don't want our bags to just be going around and around. What should can we do?
 
Can you call ME and ask them what they think you should do?
 

As long as your at the same resort it really won't matter. The airport pulls all Magic express bags and they get delivered to the resort on the tag. Bell services delivers them to your room and your off to a wonderfull vacation. As long as they are going to Orlando Disney will get them to you. Have a magical trip.
 
Use the tags you have! All they do is direct the Disney people at the Orlando airport which resort your bags go to -- those tags have no connection to the particular flight you are on. The airline still puts their own luggage tags on your baggage for your flights.

Take a close look at those ME tags: they have no flight information on them, only the resort and checkin date. If your checkin date has changed because of flight cancellation, just write the new date on the tag. If the date is the same, then you don't need to do anything.
 
Oh yeah...DUH. If you are at the same hotel you are fine. haha I forgot about that.
 
I know it's late but the Disney site has this info:

Q. What if I did not receive my Disney's Magical Express Service information packet, including vouchers and luggage tags, prior to leaving home?

A. Once you arrive at Orlando International Airport, please proceed directly to the Disney Welcome Center (B side, Level 1). You do not need to claim your luggage. Disney will obtain your information, collect your luggage and deliver it to your room at your Resort hotel. At the Disney Welcome Center, you will be asked for your airline baggage claim checks and a brief description of your luggage. You will also be asked to confirm your return flight information if you are using Disney's Magical Express Service for transportation back to Orlando International Airport at the end of your stay.
