New attractions

Just back from 7 day cruise and 4 day WDW. Excited to see the new Stitch attraction, what a let down. Luckily we did FP and only waited 10 min. The standby line was 90 min. Not worth it!! Little kids were screaming, too dark for too long and boorring for adults. At MGM we got to preview the new Stunts, Motor, action show, it was good. But the FP line to get in took 35 minutes. The stadium looks like it holds 5000 people (I don't really know) and they herd them all in at the same time and out again. I know Disney can do this better since they do with all the other shows. It was only day 3 of previews so hopefully they're working on it. I also thought the show was going to have jet skis, there was water, but no jet skis. Again maybe this is coming. At Epcot the new show at Living Seas, interactive with Crush the turtle was excellent. We haven't been to LS for awhile and there are alot of new exhibits - very good. The castle at MK is decorated for the new celebration and looks great. They also took the curb out around the circle in front of the castle and looks like they replaced the trolley tracks. Easier for strollers to get around.

Wow! Thanks! I am going with just my husband on May 5 - 11. I cannot wait. I was wondering what the new attractions were besides "soarin'"! Glad you got a sneak peek!! That is probably why they have these soft openings - so they can work out the "kinks". I was also disappointed with Stitch. We went over Thanksgiving and at least we walked on- no line. I would have been miffed to have wasted time waiting in a line for that garbage. During that trip, our whole family enjoyed the Crush show. Very cool.

What will be new at Ak and MK for 5/5/05?? Anyone??

What will be new at Ak and MK for 5/5/05??

We'll be there the same time as you! We'll be looking for Lucky the Dinosaur in AK. He's supposed to be an AA (audio animatronic) dinosaur that walks around the park!

At MK will be Cinderellabration, a new stage show that's in from Tokyo Disneyland. And the Castle will be/is decorated for the event.

Also new is Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show at MGM. Being a car/motorcycle nut, I'm really looking forward to that one.

Can't wait!!!!
