What are Soarin' and the stunt car show like?

I know it's like, Lights, Motors, Action or sumthing like that? It's where the Hunchback theatre used to be, right?

Where IS Soarin' and what is it exactly?

Thanks...

I have been on Soarin' but have not seen Lights, Motors, Action. Soarin' is amazing and is located at EPCOT in "The Land". Use a FP because the line is VERY VERY deceiving!!!! It is incredible how deceiving it is for a first timer.

Anyway, the ride is awesome. The theater is 180 degree screen making it feel like you are actually gliding through the skies of California. You can feel wind, and smell the surroundings. I personally love the ocean part and the pine tree woods! Ah how lovely! lol.

Make sure when you ride you get a first row. Otherwise you will also be viewing some feet of people in front of you. The ideal spot is B1. There are three parts, a middle section and two side sections. You want middle front! lol.

If the stand by line says 75 minutes and it looks shorter, it is 75 minutes! lol. There are like three rooms of lines and you don't see the end until you are in the last line of the last room. You will enter the first part and say, oh this isn't bad, but then as you enter into the next room it is like, oh my freakin' gosh!!! LOL The line looks overwhelming!

It is an amazing ride I say you can't miss it!!! (Just DO NOT wait longer than 45 minutes for it. It is not that worth it!) We waited 75 minutes to ride the 7 minute thing and this was at midnight and we were too tired to enjoy it then. We rode it the next day and used a FP, it was 10 times better!!

Soarin' is in Epcot, I believe it is next to The Land (I'm not entirely sure, as I have not been there since it's been open). But, I did go on the original Soarin' in Disney's California Adventure a couple of years ago. Basically, you sit down in these seats, and the seats are hoisted up about 30 feet into the air in front of what is like an IMAX screen. It's pretty much just a film showing various places, but the movement of the seats and other things such as smells and feeling a slight breeze make you feel like you are really flying. It's a great ride, and there is no other ride like it.

Soarin'--
This new attraction sends you on a sweeping flyover above the wondrous Golden State for a birds-eye view of the rich landscape and topography. Soarin' is the newest addition to The Land pavilion at Epcot, complementing the popular pavilion's agriculture and ecology theme.

The unforgettable experience combines cinematic artistry and state-of-the-art motion base technology. You are literally lifted 40 feet inside a giant projection screen dome and completely surrounded with the beauty and wonder of the state of California as their elevated theater seats take them on a scenic tour over the Golden Gate Bridge, the Redwood forests, Napa Valley, Yosemite and more. The free-flight experience intensifies as guests feel the sweeping winds and smell fragrant orange blossoms and pine trees around them.
Soarin' in a FASTPASS attraction! Be sure to get one as the lines and wait times for this attraction tend to be very long!

The good news is the entire queue is located indoors!

Folks with motion sensitivity issues take caution. Although it is a gentle ride, you will be lifted off the ground and there is movement of the seating. In addition, you are right in front of a huge IMax movie screen.

Be sure and get B1 on your 1st time if you can! Ask the CM's near where they sort you into rows and they will help. Soarin is located inside of The Land on the bottom floor. (Despite the horried smell of The Land) Don't miss it!!! You'll love it! :wizard:

i'll just agree with everyone here

i have the video saved on my computer (before the site i got it from took all there videos down) and have it on the relive the magic DVDs (which is 18 DVDs of most of the attractions at WDW which is just great when i want to watch something i find myself watching philharmagic at least 5 times when i watch them though)

my favorite part in the ride is just near the end when you go over the shores of somewhere (i wouldn't know just a seaside) with surfers on it and because it feels so real you just have to pull up your feet to avoid them getting wet (even though nothing happens) when watching it

Soarin' is awesome, like everyone else has said already.

Lights, Motors, Action is a stunt show, similar to Indiana Jones, but with cars (obviously). The cars do a lot of tricks that are seen in popular movies, like Gone in 60 Seconds, The Italian Job, ect ect. It's really cool! Then they show you how its done and all. It's like a backstage view of all the awesome car stunts. :thumbsup2 It's really awesome! I love LMA, but I've heard other people saying they didn't like it. It's all personal opinion. If you like car stunts and stuff like that, then you'll love it. If not, then it's just like any ordinary stunt show, only stinkier (you can smell the tires burning when they spin against the asphault, bleh!)
