New AP rate Contemporary

Was anyone able to get the new Ap rate for a standard view at the Contemporary? I know they have the garden view for $199, but we acturally like the parking lot view better(to see the monorail).

I did get the garden view for $199 but really wanted standard also to save a little money. I know you can see the monorail with the North Wing standard view but what about the South Wing?

I did call back and get the standard view. She tried to tell me at first that I had the standard garden view, but I explained to her there are 3 levels of rooms at the Contemporary...standard, garden view and tower. After I told her that she found the standard room available. I've never stayed in the South Wing standard room, so I'm not sure you can see the monorail from there or not. I would imagine you can.

You might be able to see the Monorail on the TTC, but that will depend on your room.

So what is the AP rate for the Standard View? I just got the $199 AP rate, but didn't know there was anything cheaper available.

I have the FL Res rate (which is the same as the AP rate) $174 per night not including tax.

Isn't it funny how different people have such different preferences. When we stay at a Monorail resort besides the medically necessary no smoking room, our only request is to NOT have a view of the parking lot or monorail!

what dates is the $174 for?

I stayed in the south wing, maybe 3 or 4 rooms down from the entrance to the wing, and my view was of the monorail going into/out of the tower up above.
