Where can I find information about the park travel times? We are staying at the Beach Club and I am trying to find out if it will be best to travel by bus, boat, personal car, etc. Not sure where to look on the boards. All the advice has been great, thanks so much.

I'm not sure where to find that info on the boards but...I happen to own a Passporter (which is a geat book by the way!) and in it they show the following "in-transit" times for Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts.

Magic Kingdom: Direct Bus-20 minutes
Epcot: Walk/Boat-10 min/10 min
DHS: Walk/Boat-20 min/15 min
AK: Direct Bus-20 min
Downtown Disney:Direct Bus-15 min

Don't forget that the above is "in-transit" and doesn't take into account your wait time for a bus to pick you up. If you take your car you just get in and go.

I hope this helps and is what you were looking for.

Thanks for the welcome and information. If we are staying in park do we receive a parking pass for all locations? We have an ADR at CP before the park opens, as well as HDDR. I didn't know if we should drive or take transportation to those two events.

We have always relied on Disney transportation in our 42 trips, we allow for the extra time and at places like the HDDR, it's all the free beer and Sangria so we like the free buses or boat. Traffic and Floridian drivers are alot different than at home, rather let Disney hassle with that.

in general assume 20 min to get to the park in the morning, nd 40 min. to leave at close. at peak seasons, double it.

Welcome to DISboards. This is a great source of info and I'm sure you'll find answers to all of your questions, also be prepared to become addicted to DIS.:lmao:

Have a nice and safe trip coming. :)

Definitely take Disney transportation to MK, they leave you off close to the gate area, a short walk. If you drive, the parking lots are a boat or monorail ride away from the gates, and drop you off only slightly (two minute walk) from where the busses do.

Hoop De Doo is at Pioneer Hall in the Fort Wilderness area. There is an internal bus system there that you get on after parking or taking a Disney bus. There are several resort busses after the show though, so getting back with Disney transportation might be faster.
