New American Girl Store-what time to be there?

Has anyone been to the opening of a new American Girl Store?? What time did you show up in the morning? My daughter reallly wants to be one of the first 100 but I have no idea how early to show up. It's a bit of a drive for us so add to that to having to be there before opening and we're talking early I'm sure. Plus I know it's going to be super crowded but she is so excited that it's becoming contagious!

Any hints or suggestions would be appreciated!

My sister and nieces did this. They lined up at 7A and were in the top 100 people to enter. They got a goody bag.

The new store is opening in Kansas City. I went today for their soft opening to check it out. Heard that the mall is opening at midnight the night before to allow people to camp out!!! NO WAY am I doing this. I didn't mind going early morning but having to camp out in sleeping bags with strangers ....ummm nope! It's nice to hear about your sister not being there too early ....maybe we'll try that and see what it's like...if it's too bad then we could just go get breakfast instead.

I have searched high and low and can't find the contents in the Denver store's goody bags.

By the time the store opens, none of you will be strangers anymore!

Honestly, I see that sort of thing not so much as "sleeping on the sidewalk with strangers", as an all-night fan convention. Some folks pitch even pitch tents, fire up a portable BBQ, go all out!
