New alternative route thru NC

I wasnt sure if this would affect anyones driving plans or not.

A new bypass has been finished if you are traveling I-85 near Greensboro. If traveling south you will still continue towards Charlotte but this will cut off probably 15 mins of time. Before you would have traveled where I-85/40 traffic merged, which IMO was a nightmare.

Traffic was always slow through that area known as "death valley" for obvious reasons.

Same goes if you are traveling north.

Doesn't really apply to my WDW trips, but that's good news for lots of driving that I do in that area!

Glad this info might help. My timer at bottom is slow. We are actually leaving for WDW same time as yall. We will be staying at OKW.
