Don't need a new animatronic just a little fixing and turn him back around and were good.

This makes me really happy, especially given how little exciting news we've had at EPCOT lately. I'm really hoping this is a sign of positive things to come with updating attractions!

They are far from new, the first item in this article on theme park tourist is a good write up about them. I certainly had no idea of the history when I saw them a few days ago or I would have paid more attention to them.

Yes they are absolutely new to the Gran Fiesta, I just thought it was even better when I saw the history about them. Trivia at its best.
