New 4 Get 3 Deal, CBR, But Not Pirate Room!

This 4 night get 3 Free Deal would allow us to go to WDW during DD's spring break, MUCH cooler and now less expensive than our August dates. I put in a quote request with Dreams Unlimited early Friday morning and waited, meanwhile checking the prices and availability online.... I should of just booked online Friday because now(Sunday) the only rooms available at CBR are the pirate rooms and a Dreams agent still hasn't gotten back to me. We REALLY want to stay at CBR and a Nemo room is a better fit for our daughter w/autism. Should I go ahead a book a pirate room and hope that a Nemo room opens up with the deal OR consider staying at Riverside instead? I will admit, we really had our hopes set on CBR which is where we are booked for our August trip.

I would. I would call the resort every week and let them know of your daughters situation. I am sure they will try to work with you.

I would book CBR since that is what you really want. Then call them like the previous poster recommended. Also, isn't there a phone # to call if you have special needs or are disabled? They may be able to help you, too.

UPDATE!!!! I checked first thing this morning and a standard (non-pirate) room became available so I booked it online. I would have liked a preferred location room, BUT one can't be too demanding! Will all the rooms be changed to Nemo rooms by March?

Now I need to change my countdown!!!!

I am staying at CBR and I don't think all the rooms are being changed to Nemo rooms. Probably just a small percentage.

Oh well, Nemo or just tropical decor is fine with us. I think the pirate theme would of been frightening to our DD.

I like Pirates of the Caribbean BUT not as room decor. On another thread it was said all of the rooms, other than Trinidad South pirate rooms, would be done with the Nemo theme once the rehab is completed. I hope that's true! But either way, the old tropical theme or new Nemo is better for us than pirates.

Check the CBR faq thread on the resorts page. I believe certain buildings have been updated (like Aruba for example) and others have not (like Jamaica.)

Go there and find out which buildings do have the new Nemo rooms and add the request to your reservation.

They can't guarantee that you'll be in the requested area, but it should give you a leg up.
