New 2024 Military Salute ticket users

Military family, we have purchased and used the military salute tickets many times.*

However, in early July, I went to our local base and purchased the military salute tickets like I have done many times. During this visit I was told that my local base in Charleston, SC, no longer hands out the ticket voucher/cards. I was given a printout to use for reservations in the MDE app. Other than that I only had a receipt in hand. Are other military bases doing this? (This is my actual question)

I’m assuming to activate these tickets I’d just show the ticket in my app with our military ID.

That is what I got also from Carlisle Barracks. I entered the bar code on MDE on my phone and it loaded the ticket information and then I just assigned them to everyone. Very easy to do. Was told I would still need to show my ID at Guest Services to verify.

Can you activate the tickets the day before without using up a day? Also, we don't have a local base; do you know if they can do this over the phone and send an email or something? Thanks!

We buy our from Shades of Green, they come activated and just email them.

We activated them the night before at Disney Springs Guest Services.
It doesn’t use a day. They just verify everything with the military id.
Then you are all set for the next day.
