Hi everyone! I'm officially moved to FL and love it! I want to buy passes for IOA and US but have some questions....
1) How do I know the FL rates? Do they offer reg. AP passes and Premium AP passes like Disney? If so, what are the differences?
2) I have a ticket I bought years ago that I never used... can it be used toward the purchase of the AP? (It was a ticket bought through AAA and was good for 7 days after first use. Since we are Disney AP holders we never used it but I still have it.)
3) I heard a radio commercial for coke zero coupons for a year of US for a certain $$ amount. It seemed very cheap and wasn't sure if that was the same for the AP.

Sea World???
I heard from someone that teachers get in free... Is this as many times as they want?

How much are the passes for Sea World and are they any block out dates?

THANKS EVERYONE FOR HELPING!!!!!!!!
I am so excited to be here!

There are many options for these passes but I'll tell you what I have since I've been pretty happy with them. For Universal I've had the Preferred pass since like 2001 or so,no black-out dates, free parking and discounts everywhere including the restaurants at Citywalk as well as tickets as low as $25 for Halloween Horror Nights in off peak nights. For Sea World I have the most expensive one called the Platinum passport,I first had the Silver pass for just Sea World Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa which I paid $11.52 monthly with their EZ Pay program, then I went to visit Busch Gardens in Virginia and I upgraded the Silver to Platinum which included both Busch Garden parks, all three Sea World parks, the waterparks in Virginia and Tampa, Water Country and Adventure Island and Sesame Place in Pennsylvania,by upgrading I could get into all these other parks by going from paying $11.52 a month to $12 and that rate doesn't change as long as you keep your pass current. The Platinum now also includes Aquatica but at today's price it would be like $16-$17 a month, you could pay it all at once but it's like $400 for 2 years. The Universal Preferred when you get it new will run you $230 but their renewal is great as it's only $110 a year. The other options at Universal are the cheaper Power pass and Season pass which I don't think is always offered and the more expensive Premier pass.

Welcome! I have the Preferred AP to Universal and wouldn't get rid of it for anything. I enjoy the discounts, free parking and no blackout dates. I especially like the AP discounts on HHN tickets! If you're planning on going a lot, I wouldn't fool with the Season or Power passes since you don't get parking or discounts.

I've only had my SW pass this year but at only $9.00/month it's not a bad pass to have.

My Disney pass is the regular pass w/o blackout dates but doesn't include water parks. Keep in mind Disney does NOT offer any flexpay options so when you renew, it's a lot of money to pay at one time. I still wouldn't get rid of it and you'll love being able to go whenever you want.
