According to WDW magic, they ARE opening the mermaid standard rooms early (sept), but aren't available to book until tomorrow. Hopefully this is true!

I have talked to three different people at Disney (the 407 number for booking) and all three have told me that that information is incorrect.

The Disney Parks Blog today confirms that the AoA Mermaid rooms WILL be available for bookings starting tomorrow for travel dates beginning 9/15/12.

Also, in case none of you know this, the first person to reply to a new thread is supposed to quote the OP so everyone knows what the thread was about initially. Now, no one knows what was in the original post.

LOL! That's alright...I just wanted to remind everyone what to do because it has been happening a lot lately.

Also, if you look at the comments section on the blog, someone questions the Mermaid section, and the blog guy states that Mermaid rooms will be available tomorrow, so I would take his word for it over any phone CM.

I imagine what's happening is that since they are not accepting reservations until tomorrow, the CM's computers are still programmed to show the old opening date.
