After MANY trips to the world in the past, and being a DIS member for a fair amount of time, I thought that now was the right occasion to do a trip report. I mean, I always wanted to, but was unable to find the time to sit and blab on. And besides, I figured...who would actually care about my trip?! Well, I guess by writing this pre (and hopefully POST) trip report, I will find out.
Let me start by telling you about myself. I'm 28, recently graduated with my doctorate, recently bought a house, and is getting married in about a month and a half (see ticker below). My fiance, is also 28, and has been on this wild stress rollercoaster along with me.
At this point in time, almost, and I say ALMOST of our wedding planning is done, and it was time to think about the important things....like our HONEYMOON!
What I didn't mention about myself is my love for Disney. And yes, I know we ALL LOVE Disney....but I'm the girl who single handedly put together my own dance recital at age 8 to ONLY Disney music, who one day dreamed about growing up to be a Disney street dancer, the girl who cried and waved goodbye to Cindy's castle over her father's shoulder as she was carried out on her first trip. I LOVE IT! So when it came time to arrange our honeymoon, my thoughts turned directly to the Mouse.
So what if I was JUST THERE in December? I wanted to go again, wanted to experience it together again...this time as a married couple. So when the offer came out for free dining...I couldn't resist. I called and made our reservations.
As soon as they heard it was our honeymoon, the girl at CRO was ecstatic. We wound up getting 9/19-9/30 at CSR. Mind you, our ACTUAL wedding date is June 21, 2008. But I figured the crowds would be somewhat lower, and the price of free dining was just right. Therefore, I was lead to my newest obsession of strategically planning every aspect of this honeymoon. Currently, we will be staying at CSR with 10 day passes which will allow us to go everywhere and do everything. I can't wait! The only snag in the trip will be the one day spent with my fiance's family during the honeymoon. Luckily, they are a lot of fun, so I don't mind spending a day away from the mouse!
Well, here I will stop. If there is interest, I will continue with my report, adding more about myself, some pics, and how the trip is progressing. If not, then I thank you for listening to my 2 minute rant, ha ha!!!
