If you only have one day at the fort, rent a cabin and a golf cart. You will have all the "things" you are used to having at a resort, but can get a taste of what it is like at the fort. Then, when you are hooked on FW, if you are still not ready to tent camp, you could try renting an RV for a multiday stay at the fort.

I do not believe I would want to tent camp for just one night.
