How many days do you need to enjoy Universal? I have no idea what is at Universal.

At least two days to see everything...three would be better so you can do the parks at your leisure instead of trying to rush through everything.

i book for a longer stay.
i love to stay on site and spend a day or two just relaxing.

i add on city walk and usually a movie one night.

some homies can be happy with doing the parks in 2 or 3 days.
some do not like to repeat rides and shows.

i'm the opposite.

if you do the parks for 3 days as a newbie, you should be fine.

Spend some time checking out what Universal has to offer so you can decide how much time you'll want to spend checking it all out. If you're into thrill rides and roller coasters, spend at least one full day in Universal Studios and at least two in Islands of Adventure to get everything in. If you're only going to opt for tamer rides you can get by with one day per park or even less if you don't have small kids with you.

Universal is different than Disney in that it offers a lot more intense attractions, but far fewer things for small children. It's great for older kids and adults though and you could easily make a full vacation out of it if you wanted to and just take your time exploring the parks and CityWalk. Potter fans could spend half the day just checking out that area of Islands of Adventure alone.

On the opposite side of the coin, if you just wanted to do the top attractions and rides, and not do the shows, you could easilly do both parks in one day if you rushed. Not saying thats the best thing to do, but it is possible. Especially if you dont have any young or elderly with you (or people with bad bladders).
