I not been able to book to go to Florida this year, saving pennies :thumbsup2

Anyone I have changed my holidays plans and trasnfered my deposit rather than losing money, onto a 3 night cruise from uk to Amsterdam and zeebrugge.

Travelling in august, what would the weather be like?

Is there any theme park or kid friendly attractions to visit?

General price of drinks, soda, beer?
:thumbsup2

What is your itinery? The sailings to Amsterdam from UK take a long time so I'm not sure how much time you will have to sight see or travel once you arrive in port.

In August the weather is similar to UK but it may be slighly warmer.

I leave harwick 1800 on day 1

0800-1800 in zeebrugge (Belgium)
0800-1800 Amsterdam (holland).

The arrive back harwick 0600 the following day :thumbsup2

Zeebrugge itself has some attractions - a 1960s soviet submarine and a lighthouse! Or you can get a tram along the seafront and visit Blankenberrge, which has a pier and lots of holiday entertainment (a bit like Cromer) including the National Sealife Centre and the Serpentarium. Also hosts the summer sand sculpture festival (not sure of dates). The next town along, de Haan, is a very attractive seaside resort with lovely beaches. Depending how far down the coast you are prepared to travel, there is the themepark Plopsaland at De Panne (another seaside resort, almost at the French border):thumbsup2

Depending on the state of the euro, prices would tend to be about 2.50 for a soft drink and 3.50 in a bar, best to buy some supplies in supermarkets
