NETFLIX: Just joined! Need movie suggestions!

Well we just signed up with Netflix and set it up to stream instantly through our Wii and ITouches and IPad. So easy and will be great for the winter!

But....I am overwhelmed with choices.....SO thought I would start a "Netflix" sugggestions thread. Anyone want to join in on "What are you watching now?"

I have one...family friendly....oldie but goodie: SISTER ACT with Whoopi Goldberg.

I go on the Blockbusters site and look at their New Releases and Just Released and then put those in my Netflix que.

We just watched 'When in Rome' and that was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. 'Shutter Island' is up next for us and I'm looking forward to that one.

One we watched recently that I highly recommend is 'It's Complicated'. Very funny.

The Secret Life of Bees was one I randomly found on Netflix that I probably wouldn't have seen. I didn't read the book first so I liked the movie.

One of my favorite 90's movie is "Blink".....it didn't do so well in the theatre but it's quirky and somewhat of a thriller.

My favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption.....!

we love the TV shows..

We watched all of Arrested Development, and are 1/2way through Dexter.
We ordered season one of Glee.

We hardly watch any "live" TV now. We just wait for the DVD and watch the whole thing in a row.

We also had fun sharing "Charles in Charge" and "The Addams Family" with the kids.

"Cake Boss" and "Man v. Food" "Mythbusters" are family favs too.

I just streamed "TIMER" and thought it was cute, and not totally predictable.

A little romance, a little comedy, and a touch of sci-fi.

How about Mystic River, Arlington Road, Gran Torino....ughh I'm drawing a blank on more.Ok, had to ask my husband the names of soem I was thinking about...The Perfect Getaway(bonus because the sexiest man alive is in it...Timothy Olyphant) The Departed and Primal Fear.

We've been streaming in the Dexter series. Finished Season 1, getting read to start Season 2. Very entertaining and disturbing.

Hudsucker Proxy - funny Coen Brothers movie with Tim Robbins and Paul Newman.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - Jim Carrey in an atypical role, with Kate Winslett.

Being John Malkovich - with John Cusack and Catherine Keener.

Older Johnny Depp movies, such as Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, or Benny and Joon.

I watch alot of sci fi and am in the middle of Battlestar Galactica

I also liked New Amsterdam, Bob the butler, Valentines Day.
