Nemo and Cricut

Can someone please help me....

I need to make a nemo layout and I can't seem to find a fish that looks like nemo. I have Life's a Beach, Create a Critter, and animal kingdom but none seem to have anything that looks like nemo fish. I am thinking I can use my Gypsy but I am not great at it yet...

Any help would be great

Do you have SCAL? There is a great file...perfect Nemo (and friends for that matter) can be downloaded from the Mardenz website.

The little fish in the fish bowl from Zooballoo makes a good Nemo. You just have to add in the stripes which I have done with colored pencil and marker and he came out great.

ok so I read what an Scal file is. I've never used or done one these before. I hope you all allow me to ask some stupid questions.
Do I need to have the CDS running to make my Cricut cut these files. and how do I get the cricut to cut these files?
And I'm having a huge issue I bought and have the box fro CDS but it's on my old laptop that I just found out the motherboard is bad. and now I cant find the disc to load it on my new laptop.

You have to have the SCAL software to cut those files. They will not work with CDS. From my understanding SCAL is a lot like CDS.

Yep...SCAL is different and it is AWESOME!!! Just go check out that Mardenz site to see all the great things you can download. Plus you can cut and weld all your fonts...there are some tutorials on the program that are really great. I think it is a must-have for any scrapper!!! Jennifer (mm2000) can weigh in here if she sees this...she is a great advocate for SCAL. Anyway, you can download it right to your computer, so no wait for shipping and they send you the disc also. There are also some files that you can buy and download (to be cut out...svgcuts.com)

You can pretty much take any image and make it into a SVG to cut out with SCAL. The possibilities are endless!

I knew you could promote it the best, Jennifer!! I have two questions for you:

1. The fireworks svg...do you remember where you got it...or did you make it yourself? I have one...but yours is better!! I need it for my W (Wishes) in the ABC letter swap.

2. What do I have to do to get that SWEEEEEET sorcerer hat file?? If you don't want to pass it on, I understand. But, I'd love it!!

It may have been. It's on my EHD so I'll do a search for it at some point this weekend.

Jennifer makes the best scal things!!!! And she is a wiz at CDS.
Just saying. She helped me with my topper in the abc swap. I would never had done anything that nice w/out her help!
And for the record that "latte" card is my all time favorite!

No...I don't have Stand & Salute. I do have something...it's just not satisfying me totally...know what I mean?? LOL

I would love it if you could get the hat to work through email!! I would be forever in your debt!! Things that can be used for DHS are few and far between. They need to come up with some embellies and papers for that park!!!!!
