Neil Entwhistle and the Massachusetts Murders

I have just heard that Neil Entwhistle, the husband and father of the two murder victims in Hopkinton, Mass is not mentioned the obituary of his wife and child and it is unknown if he will return to the USA to attend the wake and funeral.
If he didn't look guilty before, he is looking more guilty with this revelation.

The fact that he has stayed in England, even after finding out his wife and BABY daughter were murdered, doesn't that say it all?

But boy, listening to Howie Carr on Friday, he was pointing out all the ways the Hopkinton police blew this "cut and dry" case. They were IN the house on Saturday, and did not find the bodies. They returned Sunday and found the bodies. A good defense lawyer can make mince meat of the DA with this info.

Does anyone know what police found in his car? I missed it on the news tonight.

I was thinking the same thing while reading the obits in my local paper...he isn't even mentioned, he didn't come home when he learned of the murders, the house was locked with no signs of forced entry and he flew to England the day they were murdered (or thereabouts BTW ~ they don't know the actual time he was on a flight to England?? Seems to me they would be able to know exactly when he got on a plane to leave the country...maybe they just aren't saying yet )

I think they are holding a lot of info from the press. I am sure they know exactly what flight he was on out of Boston. With airport security, it should not be too hard for law enforcement to find out that info. I would hoep not, anyway!

The obit would just be HER family chose not to list him, since he is WAY over there, they are left to make the arrangements. I am sure I would leave out my sister's husband in her obit under these circumstances also.

I agree...I would probably leave out that info too if I were in the same boat.

Seriously though ~ he leaves the same time they were killed and doesn't fly home when he learns of their deaths? His wife and new baby? If he didn't actually do it, then he most definitely had something to do with someone else doing it.

I agree, he's involved somehow. What were they saying about the internet stuff? Even if their lives were threatened because of that, who would leave their wife and baby unprotected?

they had just moved into that house (rental) about 10 days earlier. Before that they were living with her parents on the South Shore

they also said that he never talked to the MA investigators when they went to England
it is a huge story here in the Boston area
i wonder if they will have to extradite him back to the usa

Do you think maybe someone else murdered the Mom and baby (maybe someone he scammed through some business deal?) and he fled. either way, he is guilty. He either did it himself or was caught up in something that brought it on.

He certainly sounds like a shady character.

It kills me every time I see that baby's picture on the news. I have a 9 month old DD. I can't imagine what kind of evil being would kill a Mother and baby.

We're the next town over also!!! I have found it to be interesting that those friends of theirs came over on Sat night for a dinner party and the house was dark and closed up. I can't imagine that she would have a dinner party by herself but could be wrong. I can't imagine how the Hopkinton police feel about missing those bodies in the bed on Sat...yikes! I know the bed was unmade but come on...bodies in it and nobody sees them??!!!
I just wish they could come up with something concrete. It's really sad...if, and I do mean if, the mom was involved in something shady, all well and good. But for that baby to be murdered and just left there is incredible. Oh man....I didn't mean that it was okay to murder the mom...just trying to make a point about a truly innocent baby. Those poor grandparents...to have to lose a daughter and a granddaughter. How very sad and horrific.

just saw on the news that Neil Entwhistle has finally been arrested in England...it's about time!
