I don't know if we have a new mail delivery person, but for the last couple weeks we've had our neighbor's mail mixed in with ours occasionally. DH usually takes it over and gives it to the guy.

However, yesterday we received, well, something I would have expected to be wrapped in plain brown paper but was not. It was addressed to said neighbor.

So, do we return it to him? (Note: this was not something he paid for; more like a catalog of sorts.) Or just toss it and pretend we never saw it? If you were the neighbor, which would you prefer?

:lmao: Only you Mal, only you. :rotfl2: I'd probably toss it and then leave a note or something for the mailman letting him know the mail is getting mixed up. The neighbor will get a new catalog in a few weeks, I bet.

I'd stick it in the mail box in the middle of the night

NOOOOO... don't throw it out :rolleyes1

If you can't "use" it I would sneak it back over in their mailbox when noone is looking :rotfl:

Look through it to see if there is anything you might want to order and then drop in his mailbox. :thumbsup2

To be honest, I would toss it. My poor grandmother got one of those in the mail addressed to her. She was mortified and couldn't figure out where it came from (seriously, she was pointing to "items" in it asking what the heck they had to with sex)

I did consider the sneaking it over there option, but he has motion sensor flood lights and I can't imagine getting caught with this in my hand. :rotfl:

I wonder what the mailman is thinking about the people that live at your house. :scared1:

In that case, I would probably toss it. I am assuming you don't know the neighbor that well here (and may know too much already). ;)

Aren't you the one that lives in a "swinging" neighborhood? If I'm remembering correctly you really can't be surprised. And based on that I wouldn't take it over, he just might take it as an invitation.;)

You could drop it off at the post office and tell them it was delivered incorrectly to your address. Also mention this has been happening a lot recently and you wanted to let them know so they can address the issue. Kill 2 birds with one stone!

You could, stick it back in your mailbox with a sticky note attached stating --Wrong Address - Please Take Note and Deliver Correctly!! That way, the postal worker may become aware of his/her mistakes. Especially if he/she has to redeliver such material.

put it in your mailbox w/the flag up for the mail carrier to take and put in the correct mailbox.

No, I don't think that was me. But it sounds like a thread I would have read! :rotfl:

Yes just put it back in the mail with delivered to wrong address written on it or even nothing just put it back in. It really isn't any of your business what kind of mail your neighbor gets! I would not want my neighbors "censoring" my mail and deciding what I deserved to get.
