Neighbor PLACED cat/dog poo on my doormat...what would you do?

I missed that one. I think the most recent watch I was involved in was Dead Neighbor Watch, but I don't remember the year. It was truly fantastic, though; sadly, it did not feature video of the goings-on, as did Poo Watch 2006.

I remember Dead Neighbor Watch. I thin it was 2008 maybe. That was honestly one of the best threads I've ever seen on these boards.

What a turd! Literally. That's not very nice! The rotten part of me would say ship it back in the form of a flaming torpedo, but how RUDE!

Found it!

Also, Poo Watch!

Yeah, I should probably clean out some of my subscribed threads, but these were fun.

I can't imagine people going through the trouble of doing something as disgusting as "moving" poo, but who knows? Maybe they did - maybe they didn't..

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion the first time around though.. If it happens again, then I would speak to the management about it..

I don't remember dead neighbor watch. The neighbor watch with the paper bag through the front window seriously kept me up at night. I still want to know what the heck they were doing. .

Poo threads are always the best threads. :lmao:

Seriously, if there was cat poo on my door step, I would just clean it up and go on with my day. :thumbsup2

I concur on both points, here. Occasionally I find little 'presents' from the neighbourhood cats on my porch, they get cleaned up with my puppies' poo.

Oh POOP you never let us down!

Sorry... The kids had spongebob on this morning. :happytv:

I think we are long overdue for a new Poo Watch! :yay::yay:

We had a cat when I was growing up that used to leave a "gift" on our doormat of the head and the right leg of a mouse. Always the right leg and the head...never anything else.

I think I would have handled poo better that dead mouse body parts.

I was having the worst day and decided to check my thread. :rotfl2::rotfl2: I can always depend on all of you to see the good and bad of both sides. Honestly, so much talk about poop is truly funny. It wasn't funny yesterday when I walked out of my door and found it on my doormat instead of next door. That is exactly what happened I am sure. Can I prove it? :confused3No, so I am letting it go. It's not worth the hassle. I picked it up and threw it away yesterday. If it happens again, then I will know it was on purpose. I am a person that usually lets things go pretty easily. Thanks for the actual replies that tried to answer my question. I appreciate it!:goodvibes

I would ask the neighbor the next time you see him or bump into him..hey man are you still getting poop left at your door? "because I had poop on my door mat and I had notice there was some poop on yours around the same time? I wouldn't bother with complaining...just be cool about it when you approach them...

That is about what I was going to say when I saw him. It's all in the approach right?

OMG. I am sitting here CRYING with laughter as this is one of the funniest things I've read on here in a while.

My eyes are stinging from my eye cream!!

Seriously, though...the reaction by your neighbor isn't off base, but, obviously, misplaced. Our former next door neighbor...her dogs pooped in our yard all the time. My husband just picked it all up with a shovel and threw it over onto her driveway. Some may have landed on her car a time or two.

My neighbor's lap dog keeps pooping on our sidewalk, porch, and driveway!!!
I guess "Precious" doesn't poop in the grass because the grass might touch his butt!!! So he does it on my concrete!!

This is on my nerves so bad! My DH suggested taking the dog for a nice Sunday drive one weekend and I told him that wouldn't be nice.
But I would be lying if I said we hadn't considered shoveling the poop and placing it on their front porch to give them a taste of their own medicine!

One of my parents' cats does that, too. And get this--she's so considerate that she even provides gifts for visitors as well! My brother stopped by the house once and when he came back out to where his car was parked in the driveway, Chopper had thoughtfully left half a chipmunk by one of his front tires. :goodvibes

:rotfl:

Who says cats are cold and unfeeling?

I live in an apartment. I noticed that some animal feces was on my neighbor's doormat late last night. I am sure it was left by one of the stray cats that hang around. I came out this morning and noticed that it had been placed on my doormat. I have dogs and can only assume that they think my dogs had done that to them. I am livid!!!!!!!!!! How could they assume that? :confused3 I always pick up after my dogs and would NEVER allow them to do something like that? Should I call the office and report that? Should I leave them a note? I have to do something because I am so angry about it. The question is....what would you do?

1) How do you know a stray cat left it on their doormat.

2) If you knew it was a stray cat, why did you not pick it up or tell them it was out there.

3) How do you know it was your neighbor who moved poop to your doormat. Maybe there is a serial pooper afoot.

4) Why would you report them? Pick it up and let that be the end.
