Where is the best place to book an ADR for a birthday. I hear most places bring out a cupcake but I read somewhere where someone said Hollywood and Vine gives you a small pooh keepsake?
Also any tips you could give me or suggestion to make this birthday extra special is greatly appreciated.
He turns 4 in September on our trip.I'll get him a button and make sure he has a special shirt made. I'm going to decorate our room at the resort. His gifts will be wrapped in Disney paper and he will have one gift from Mickey (Disigns people helped me with gift tag). I will probably go get him a cake at Puplix or something and have it in the room.I already ordered Mickey shape candle holders and candles for it.
I would do the pirate cruise or pirate dress up but he isn't into pirates yet.His daddy would not approve of anything princess~ugh I need a girl too, lol.
I wanted to do the MNSSHP on his birthday but his birthday is on the 24th ,oh well more time at MK that day.

Any tips or suggestions to help me? Am i forgetting anything special to do for him?

The barbershop can cut his hair and put the mickey head in with gel. It's a real head turner! I think Chef Mickey's gives an autographed placemat for those celebrating while there. What are you choosing for his gift from Disney?

We're having my dd's 5th down there in Feb. I'm still torn on our ADR but I did want to mention this. We picked up a personalized Disney CD for her (they sing her name throughout), I got the princess version and there is a song on there which is specifically a birthday song.

They are on sale for 9.99 right now too. :thumbsup2 Shipping is spendy at 9 bucks, but I know my dd will be beside herself with the princesses singing songs with her name. They have other versions too, it might be something worth looking into.

When DS5 turned 4, we did his birthday at Chef Mickey's (for dinner). We ordered a cake from there, which Donald Duck brought to our table and everyone sang Happy Birthday...DS still talks about that birthday dinner and it has been a year and a half.

Between going to WDW and the gifts, etc, and being with his family, I'm sure this birthday will be very special for your DS. Remember, he's only turning 4. Everything you have planned will be a very big deal to him. Enjoy and don't stress about having to make it even more special.

We haven't decided exactly what his gift will be.Last year we went in September also and the trip was his main birthday present. Then of course when he got there he got a few special gifts ,the monorail set, an americana buzz, and a Lightening Mcqueen that you could take apart and change.
I will probably go to the Disney store and pick him up something before we go this time.Plus he will get the birthday giftcard and already has a Disney giftcard for shopping.

We are deffinately doing the haircut.I always get his hair cut at snip-its but he has been saying he wants a haircut at Disney World. I'm not sure how he found out he could get this done, lol. He must be researching behind my back.:rotfl: Anyway this is a MUST.

I know it will be special for him.He will only be 4 and is a little bit behind developmentally also. However I am one of those people who will get so mad at myself if I discover something I miss that I should have done, kwim? He is so easy to please ,last year he loved riding the bus as much as anything,so he will be excited nomatter what.People just thought it was so cute when we got on the bus he would start saying "Wheeeeee",lol.
