Needed AP# to Book Buy3/1 Nt Free on Phone

Just booked at DL for Dec. 11-15. Used the Buy3/Get 1 Night Free offer promoted on the DL website. Could not get rate quote without providing AP #s for my entire group! The CM gave a very hard sales pitch on the trip insurance(I declined). According to the CM, this offer requires a ticket purchase or AP #, no exceptions. I booked the DLH for 4 nights for well under $800.00, standard view. I had booked these dates last week, and the room was over $300.00 more with the last night "supposedly" being free. I checked the rate on Expedia and at full price on the DL website before calling the reservation number listed on the website. This special is booked through Walt Disney Travel Company and is treated as a package. Be sure to check prices before calling the travel company.

Are you saying that everyone staying in the room must have an AP? That's a little different from their regular AP rates. Usually you just need 1 AP in the room. I was thinking about a trip during the time the promo is offered. Just haven't made the decison yet.

When I was booking, I needed to provide the AP #s for each member of the party, or add tickets for the non-AP holders. There was no getting around this with the CM.

Yes, that is the policy if you book through WDTC. A few months ago you couldn't book a package without getting tickets. So this is all new. If not everybody has AP's then they can add hoppers for the people in your party that don't have them.
