Thanks so much for all your help so far. Everyone has been so kind and very helpful.

We have done some research and are having trouble deciding where to stay. We will check in 11/30 and check out 12/4

My 3 year old son is a hug Toy Story fan so originally we thought we'd stay at the All Star Movies. With the little research we've done, it looks like the rooms are a good value, but l rooms, long check ins and a long bus ride to MK. Any comments or suggestions?

We started looking at some other resorts and we are considering the Wilderness Lodge.

The wilderness Lodge looks great, but a few comments made it sound like access to the MK, was a little difficult and may take a little longer to get to AK & MGM.

I'm feeling just a little overwhelmed!

I stayed at ASMovie and didn't have any trouble with long check-in or transportation taking a long time. If you want fast transport to MK look for a good rate at the CR. You're more likely to find a good special there than the other 2 monorail resorts. All Star rooms are smaller than other resorts at WDW, but you can take the money you saved on the room and spend it on character dining and other fun. Be aware the bathrooms are very tiny, but we went when we had just 2 kids, and it met our needs.

Travel Times From Unofficial Guide:
ASM to MK 11-31, to Ep 8-28, to MGM 7-27, to AK 8-25
WL to MK 11-41, to Ep 12-42, to MGM 18-48, to AK 23-51
CR to MK 12-23, to Ep 13-29, to MGM 22-42, to AK 28-48

All Stars is looking better, I'd say.

We had our first stay at ASMO last year and fell in love with it. We were checked in, and made FDP reservation all within 15 minutes of arriving. We never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus, going to or coming from any park. The 10 minute wait was after Fantasmic, so thats understandable. The room fit 5 of us fine, there was no excess noise, and the food court was great. Also, the resort is small enough that walking from one place to another is never a long walk. CM's were friendly and helpful too. The kids loved the kiddie pool and my oldest thought the theming of the Mighty Ducks pool was cool(so do I ). The theming of the whole resort just cant be beat. Its so Disney!
Of course, thats just our experience, but we were very impressed and cant wait to be back there in 5 weeks! ;)
Good luck deciding!!!
PS: The actual ride to MK only took about 15 minutes. Its not that far.

We stayed at AS Movies in November '99 and had no trouble with check in. We stayed in Mighty Ducks building and found it quicker to cut across to the AS Music bus stop and food court. This gave us more choices when leaving a park, if busses were separate we could choose Movies or Music, whichever bus came first. Bus service was excellent. It is not that far to MK, you may have to stand coming home but I think that is the case with all resorts at the end of the day. The food court was great. Check out the codes at mousesavers.com, except I don't think Movies is included. We actually prefer Music because it seems to be the last AS resort to fill up. Good luck!:D

We stayed at the All Star Movies in `99, `00, `02. Have never experienced long waits at check in or bus stops. Journey to Magic Kingdom only takes 15/20 minutes.

Stayed at all star sports, last nov, thanksgiving week, surfs up, had no problems at all, bus service was great.
two yrs ago during thanksgiving we stayed at all star movies, mighty ducks, again no problem at all.

WL may not be so bad at the time that you are going?
With the new code I just got a room there for 119.00 value season, plus tax.
