Should I go ahead and book my flight now. They have a flight from bhm to mco for 219.40 (up 2 dollars from yesterday) with the perfect scheduled leaving and coming home times.

My questions is should I go ahead and book or wait and see if the fare goes down?

I would hate to book now and then the fare go down but then again I would hate not to book now and the rates go up. WHAT TO DO!!!!

Thanks to anyone who gives me their opinions.

If you can live with the price, I'd book now. We're flying to WDW from CMH on 2/17/06 and the best price I can find for a flight that works for us is now over $400 pp. We bought at around $300 a few days ago and the flights we wanted we nearly fully booked.

With Delta being in chapter 11 and changing flight times all the time I would have to think real hard about that one!! The price might be good but they could downsize and change your flight times. They have been doing that alot lately. :confused3

If they change the flight times to something unacceptable will they refund my money without a penalty?

All I can offer is my experience. I booked our flights in late September for our Feb dates. The price was a lot to me but everyone said it sounded good for our area. Last week the cost of the flight went down by $195 per ticket!!! I really think it was connected to SWA releasing their prices for those dates(happened at the same time) If that is so the SWA dates for all of February so you may no see that drastic a drop again?

There if a rule (rule 90 or something) that says that if they change your flight by a certain amount of time (somewhere around 90 minutes) that they have to refund you your money.

Someone jump in here with the specifics please lol!! I am certainly informative arent I?! :rotfl:

I'm also wanting to book delta but waiting... they went down a lot this past weekend but wanted to wait, now they are going back up but I'm going to wait and see... i know how much I want to pay for a ticket, at least 130-140 a person New orleans to Orlando... so far Delta has come the closest. Plus delta has already changed their flights around, so i'm a little ew about that. I'm wanting some nonstop but I dont think that's going to happen. I'm at my 86 day mark and i know most ppl would have their flights by now but I rather wait... with the hurricane katrina New Orleans is very limited to their flights so I'm hopeing that things might pick up and they will bring in more flights and prices might go down. I was hopeing for a SW DING but so far not a one DING from New Orleans.

You are looking at flight over Presidents week. Don't be greedy, prices are not going to go down. Seats are limited and the prices will keep going up. Delta is not going anywhere in the next 6 months and if the time changes don't work, you can usually get your money back

Actually the price did go down. YAY :cheer2: :cheer2:

I booked from Huntsville AL instead of Birmingham and got it for 244. per person. this is so much more convienent for me as I will only have to drive 20 minutes instead of 2 hours to the airport and the cost difference was not but 25.00 per person. AGAIN :cheer2: :cheer2:

Thanks for everyones opinion
