Need to switch resorts ressies. call now or wait for codes?

Right now, I have ressies for the first week of Jan 2005 for the Contemporary. We have another person coming with us, so that will make our party 6. We decided to stay in a Ft. Wilderness Cabin. Should I call now to change our resort reservation? Or should I just wait for the codes to come out and do all of that at once? It looks like the codes will be coming out any day.

I don't know that I would wait. Once codes come out, people may make new reservations, and it might be difficult to get what you want. What's the downside of switching now? Every day you wait is one more day you risk the Wilderness Cabins getting sold out, although I can't imagine that January is a very high demand camping time. Still, what's the downside? If I knew the cabins were what I wanted, I'd call immediately and get them. And then call again when codes come out to see if I could get a discount.

Hmm. that is a tough one. I would probably wait a few days
and if the codes are not out by the weekend, change and then
you at least have a room, and when the codes show up you can
then add it to your reservations.

we are all crossing our fingers they come out soon, before
we burst with anticipation!!

OK, I ended up calling and changing the ressies this morning. I originally had booked online and the CM seemed to have trouble finding my original ressie!! She couldn't even find it under the confirmation number I was given online. She finally found it under my name/address. Whew...got that taken care of!

Then she transferred me to Dining so I could make my PS's. I think I got a first-timer. She didn't know you could book Cinderella's Royal Table for anything but a character breakfast (we just wanted lunch PS's). She didn't understand what Neverland Club was (I had to explain it to her). But even though it took over 1/2 hour to make 4 PS's, she was very curtious and finally got it all done...lol.

Now, if those stinkin' codes would just come out...
