Need to rent EVC for MNSSHP

Hi everyone,

This is the 1st time that I am going to need an ECV. I have a foot surgery scheduled prior to our MNSSHP night. We are staying at HHR at US, so I just want to rent an EVC at MK prior to the party.

I have read that EVC's can go quickly in the morning, what do you think my chances are renting one between 4-5 on a party night?

Any other tips for a newbie are appreciated. I have been reading about how to keep your EVC dry during the frequent Florida storms and not to leave anything valuable in the basket unattended.

I would think you should be able to get one ( you may have to wait and use a wheel chair) but I think you should be fine as people leave you one should be come avalable to you then, I would make sure to turn it off when sitting still as a guest that is just using it for the day ( 9-6) may not be turning it off as much as if they were going to be using it all day long (9 an to 12pm)

I would think that you might be able to get a rental since the majority of the guests must vacate the park and ergo, return the ECVs. However, you will be in really trouble if you cannot get one, so I would consider renting one off-site for that day, or even for your US portion of your trip. For Main Street in MK, watch out for curbs and those horse-drawn vehicle tracks in the middle of the street. The curbs are hard to see at night so if you are traveling with someone, I suggest that person walks ahead of you so they can watch out for those pitfalls. When driving in the middle of main street, cross the tracks at an angle to avoid getting the wheels stuck.

Buena Vista Scooters offers one-day rentals. They probably consider a day as 24 hours rather than calendar day, but you would want to check. You'd also want one that can be broken down to transport in your vehicle if you're driving.
