Need to rent a car but don't have CC

OK, we plan to fly to FL from MI and are staying offsite at Windsor Hills. We will need to rent a car but we do not have a credit card. Is it possible to rent a car?!

I can tell you with 100% certainty that Alamo will rent you a car with just a debit card. They charge the whole thing up front and then if you have additional charges (like you bring the car back a day late or something like that) they'll charge that upon return.
We rented through the Sanford airport Alamo and Orlando Int'l airport Alamo and did it this way both times. Just be sure to let them know it's a debit card. If it makes you more comfortable to call them and confirm, I would do that.
Mousesavers.com offers some good discount codes on their site for Alamo as well that you might want to check out.

Sorry, but this absolute statement is just wrong

However, make sure you read ALL the requirements. Some agencies will run a credit check, some will put an extra few hundred dollar hold on your debit card, and almost all require you show proof of a round trip airline ticket

Get a credit card, even a low limit one, trust me, you don't want to rent with a debit card, the risks are far too great IMO.
