we are looking to go back to disney august 26-sept. 2nd. i keep checking jet blue and flights are crazy. roundtrip flights from buffalo to orlando for one person would cost me over $500.:scared1: any suggestions on when the flights might go down or when the best time to purchase tickets for this time period?

Labor Day Weekend...flights are bound to be more expensive over a holiday weekend. Sorry no help I know.

I don't think we're going to see prices go lower...

I've been monitoring JetBlue for an upcoming June trip and two weeks ago a round trip from New York to Orlando was $300 more or less. Today it's $335.00. Just last October my round trip was $278!!

I just told DH that this week alone our gas prices have gone up and I'm afraid we're going to really have to dig deep for airfares. :(

I was reading another thread about a sale on directair. They fly from Niagra Falls to Lakeland (other FL spots also). 158.00 round trip for your dates and that is nonstop.

I have never flown them but for that price I certainly would entertain the idea! Good Luck!

We are going same as you but coming home on September 3.
I have been looking too especially on JetBlue or CO. I want non-stop and not too flexible with our travel times.

I did get CO over Memorial Day weekend from EWR to FLL for $239 with taxes and fees and thought that was very good. I got that price on a Saturday morning and just an hour or so later, the prices were back up :confused3

I am on the computer all day and work and surprised I haven't gotten in trouble yet all the time I am spending on looking for air less than $350-$400 from EWR to MCO...gggrrrr pirate:

We have done WDW the last 2 weeks of August, returning labour day weekend, for the last few years and fly from BUF.

Fares are typically in the $180-$200 range for the non stops. Last year we couldn't get the nonstop going south but did get it for the return. To geet a fare that we were happy with we had to shorten our trip by 2 days. Left on a Tuesday and returned on the Saturday of the the long weekend.

This year we are going to WDW for a convention the first week of July and fares are much higher than we are used to. I did expect to pay a bit more as it's a busy holiday week but I didn't expect to have to pay $350 RT for flights with a layover. All in though....I'm very close to Toronto airport and from there the price is over $600 so I have to count my blessings that BUF is an option.

We're looking at JetBlue flights too, but not out of Buffalo. Fares jumped anywhere from $80 to $120 per person overnight for the flights we were looking at taking :sad2: If we bought today, we'd be paying an average of $400 per person. We usually pay $300. I'm so mad that I didn't buy them last night but things got hectic at home & I didn't have a chance to talk to Dh about it. I have a feeling they're not going to be going much lower anytime soon.
