I'm in my fifties and hubby is late sixties. I've been to Disney too many times to mention but I still haven't been to PI. Our Christmas trip 2003 will be our last one til 2006. I keep thinking I should go to look PI over but I never do because the place doesn't really get started until late evening. Also, I think I need to mention that my hubby has never had an alcoholic drink in his lifetime.

I love my parks and I find it very difficult to give up time there for this place. Being AP holders makes it very hard for me to want to go to PI to pay extra money there. I feel we would have to crash the next morning because of the late night and there goes at least a half day at a park. Also, I think it would give us a certain amount of jet lag for a few days to recover from a fun night at PI.

We may be too prudish to go here. I am a little curious about seeing this place but I still think it may not be for us.

I thought getting other opinions may help, if you don't mind sharing what you think about going there.

Me and my husband go and we both dont drink. It is a fun place just to walk thru. Some nights they have a live band ( maybe everynight not sure) and we do a little dancing. We never stay that late. We dont go in any of the bars their because i think they charge a cover.

I first went when I was 18. My sister was 11, but had to leave by 8:00 pm. (I think) We liked the comedy club, The beach club had a rock band playing. We had fun dancing. My parents are now in their 60's & they enjoy pleasure island. They don't drink much. I go just to dance now & only if I have a plus feature. I have to pay a sitter now.

We don't drink either, and we're not dancers.

But we really enjoy the Comedy Club and especially, the Adventurer's Club. If you have a sense of humor, you'll have a great time at either!

All the times I've gone to Disney, we finally made it to PI this past Dec.

My 17yr old DS went as well - as there is an adult with them teenagers can get in.

He loved it...especially the adventurers club.
Liquor isn't necessary to enjoy PI.

We visited almost all the clubs-some clubs require you to be 21 to get in. And there is no EXTRA cover charge, you do have to pay for admission.

I've been to PI as a teenager and as a twentysomething. I didn't think much of it either time and it won't be part of our travel plans now that we are thirtysomethings. But we would never go to a bar or a club at home, either. It just isn't our thing.
