Need to find Max... can you help?

DS has it in his head he must get Max's (Goofy's son) autograph on our upcoming trip. I think this stems from the fact that on our last day last trip, we went to MK for 3 hours before heading to airport, last thing we did was watch the show on the castle stage then literally run for the airport, at the end of that show a whole slew of different characters came out and one was Max. Max's line of autograph seekers was long and we couldn't wait. So now 2 years later "Mom, we just gotta find Max this year!"

Who has seen Max and where?

Also, is there still a show on the castle stage?

I've seen Max in toon town in front of Barnstormer with Goofy....i've seen him there many times so that must be his "place".

And yes, they have a Cinderella show at the castle a few times a day with some of the characters giving autographs after.

Toontown Hall of Fame. We got several pictures of Max in that picture taking attraction. You get all the time you need for pictures and autographs. This is the only place I've seen Max. Who is Maxs' mother?

My DD got to see Max & Goofy together in front of the castle. They came out with a bunch of characters. If was in early afternoon.

We just returned from WDW last week and we saw Max near Goofy's Barnstormer Coaster. He was GREAT with the kids! Their was a family in front of us in line and the dad said, "Hey, Goofy!" Max just shook his head. Then the kids chimed in and said that it was Max not Goofy! Max nodded his head up and down and waved his hands at the dad as if to say that the kids knew what they were talking about but the dad hadn't a clue! He was so cute! Have fun!

On the 19 of Sept. he was in Town Square at MK at about 1:00p.m.........don't forget that you can ask a CM to tell you where and when a particular character will be.

This past Summer, I saw Max twice- once in Town Square at MK and once in front of the Sorcerer's Hat at MGM.

And concerning Mrs. Goofy, here's what the FAQ page on disney,com has to say about it:

Q: Who was the mother of Goofy's son Max?

A: There is unfortunately no answer to this question.

In the 1950s, Goofy appeared in a series of cartoons that also featured a son, then called "Goofy Junior." In a few of these cartoons, we heard an off-screen voice of a "Mrs. Goofy" character.


Years later, when the television show "Goof Troop" was being created, Goofy Junior evolved into Max and Mrs. Goofy was no longer on the scene. Because these are fictional characters, they do not have real biographies and we can only go by what appears on the screen.


Perhaps someday there will be another movie or television show that will explain who Max's mother is and where "Mrs. Goofy" went, but until that time, there is no definitive answer.

Max was at The Barnstormer on Friday morning. My DD9 decided that she MUST see Daisy, so I asked a CM (in any store with a phone) to call the "hotline". They told me she'd be in Town Square at 11:00 and she was already there when we arrived about 10:45. Apparently the hotline knows all, but guest relations in the park must not. I witnessed an irate Mama giving the poor British girl manning the Kidcot table inside the toy store in Great Britain section of EPCOT a fit on Thursday. She was looking for Mary Poppins to be there at 12:35 because GR had said so. Now for the 2nd day, she wasn't where she was SUPPOSED to be and she was upset. I felt sorry for that poor CM.
