Somebody here must know where to find this.......

I am trying to find one of the nicer princess dresses for my little girl to wear for her first disney trip next spring.

I think she would need one in size 18-24 months or 2T since they seem to run a little small.

All I seem to find are the nightgown ones or the ones like on disneyshopping.com.

How do you find them when you are not in the parks? I think I remember seeing them online somewhere, but I cannot remember where.

I thought it would be a cute holiday gift for her - my original idea didn't pan out.

Worst case, I can make one, but I figured I would see what was out there first.

TIA!

PS If I am in the wrong forum, I am sorry. I didn't know where to post this.

Boy, I would check ebay - I bet there is a lot out there. Sometimes, I see then at Target and Toys R us also. Good luck for your little princess!

You can get them at Walmart.
Disneyshopping.com also had a bunch under the clearance costume section. I got a Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty for less than $15!

I checked disneyshopping.com for you. Looks like those deals are gone. Try Walmart! I got my DD a beautiful Tinkerbell dress there - they are in the Toy section.

When we brought our daughter at a younger age, the Disney Princess dresses were uncomfortable for her to actually wear for long periods of time (cheap material and the skirts were uncomfortable-bulky over clothing). We bought her this princess costume from Le Top which is velour and was super comfy for her to wear. She just wore it like regular clothes all day. Just a suggestion if you wanted her to walk around the park in it. Here is a site-I'm sure there are others that also carry it. We had it in pink and purple.

I got a package of dresses from http://www.mydressuptrunk.com/
They worked out great for our cruise/WDW vacation. We got a package of 5 dresses for $75. She wore Ariel & Belle on the boat, and Cinderella at CRT. And, then we saved Sleeping Beauty for Halloween. We still have the bride dress that she uses for playtime. I liked them very much, and so did my daughter.

You may have a hard time finding dresses that small. My 3 yo DD has several of the ones from Walmart and they are a bit big on her. I have looked all over for smaller ones for my younger DD and have not had any luck. So my mother-in-law made her one. My MIL found a Disney pattern (I think at Walmart) and made a yellow dress like Belle's. It is gorgeous and much nicer than the Belle dress I have for the 3yo. If you can sew (lucky you, I'm terrible), you might want to make your own so that it is the right size and is more comfortable.

And if you are interested in shoes, check these out:

I have seen these at the Jones Store, Famous Barr and Big Lots.

Those are adorable!! I may look into those if I cannot find anything else. In the meantime I got a good lead on a dress for my princess.

Thanks so much for all the ideas!!

I just got my niece a pre -packaged Cinderella dress, crown, wand and shoes for $10 at Walmart yesterday. I'd already picked her up a dress and shoes for $29.99 before, so I'll be returning those ones.
