Need to do Disney Cheap! HELP!

We stayed at the Anaheim Plaza in Oct and it was great especially for the price.

The rooms were large and most have balconies or private yards. The beds aren't anything spectacular, but we were all so tired each night it probably didn't matter what the bed was like, so we might not be the best judges on that.

Its a really close walk and the pool is huge!!!

Hey ... love reading the responses and gathering everything I can on ideas ..

But I have read that you can take your own food into Disneyland .. I thought that was a no no .. if one can .. that would be great!

Perhaps I read it wrong .. can you clarify please? Thanks in advance!

Official written policy from Disney is no. However, they generally will allow a soft sided cooler (about the size that hold a six pack of soda, or small amounts of food in your backpacks/diaper bags). No glass containers or bottles.

That being said, since written policy says no, they can turn you away or refuse to let you bring it in at their discretion, so make sure that you use your own discretion first when you pack your food.

That is EXACTLY what the title to this thread should be! Because the more I think about it...the more I think I NEED to stay at DLH!
