Me, DMom, DDad, and DBrother (11y.o) have been to Disney MANY times and are going back this July :thumbsup2.

We've eaten at & loved:

MK:
Liberty Tree Tavern-dinner
CRT- breakfast & dinner
Crystal Palace- dinner

Epcot:
Teppan Edo- dinner
Tutto Italia- dinner
Askerhaus- dinner

HS:
None

AK:
Donald's Breakfastaurus (a while ago, before it was @ Tusker House)

Resorts:
Chef Mickey's- dinner
Cape May- breakfast
Ohana's- breakfast & dinner
1900 PF-dinner
Beaches & Cream
Whispering Canyon Cafe- dinner
Grand Floridian Cafe- dinner
Yachtsman- dinner
Shulas- dinner

Shows:
Hoop
Spirit of Aloha

DTD:
Planet Hollywood
T-Rex

We didn't really care for Biergarten, Le Cellier, Boma, or Coral Reef (or Hollywood & Vine, but that was YEARS ago).

We're considering Big River Grille, ESPN Zone (even though it's not on the Dining Plan), and Spoodles.

We are on the regular dining plan and would like to try some new table service dinners. It doesn't matter if they're in a park or a resort.

Any suggestions? TIA! :goodvibes

Spoodles is closing...not sure when. From what is NOT on your list, we love The Plaza at the MK for a lighter lunch rather than all the heavy meals we eat at the other places; at Epcot we enjoyed Rose & Crown; we enjoy Mama Melrose at the Studios and Yak & Yeti at AK. As for resort, we've only done a few -- Chef Mickey's (always fun), Whispering Canyon (hated it and won't go back), Boatwright's (same at WCC), Cape May Cafe--we really like this for breakfast and good for dinner.

Bumping this up as I'm curious to see people's recommendations.

On our last trip we had lunch at Sci-Fi at HS. The atmosphere is fantastic- we'll definitely go back. We kept our food choices simple though (following the advice of many on this board) and had burgers and shakes and loved it.

How about the new restaurant in CR The Wave or Kona Cafe in the Poly?? I haven't been to them.... but I've read many dining reviews on them and they look fantastic! I have ADRs for both on my upcoming trip! Hope this is somewhat helpful even though I haven't tried them!

We really loved Chefs de France at Epcot, Chef Mickey for breakfast. At MGM we liked Mama Melrose and 50s PTC (well, DH didn't, but he doesn't like fried chicken and that's what he ordered). We also like Sci-Fi but haven't been there in about 5 yrs.

We love Prime Time at DHS, Rose and Crown at Epcot, Tony's at MK, Tusker House at AK, and Turf Club at Saratoga Springs.

Good luck!!

MK - Crystal Palace for breakfast
Tony's Town Square - dinner

Epcot- Garden Grill

DHS - 50's Prime Time

Resorts - Spoodles
- Kona - Poly

These would be recommendations I don't think are on your list.

Those restaurants that you don't think you'd like- you should maybe try. I was worried about Tony's based on bad reviews and we really enjoyed our meals.

I am not interested in Biergarten and thought I should probably go, because I'd probably end up liking it ( and I hate sausage- lol)

Not considering any of the restaurants that you mentioned either way--looking for new TS experiences:

We liked Marrakesh, 50s Prime Time.
We plan to try California Grill, Rose & Crown.

Hope this helps.

I also would recommend the Plaza in Magic Kingdom. We all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch there, and would definitely go back.
It isn't fancy food.
It's a cute place with good basic food. Salads and sandwiches, but everything extremely tasty.
I guess, after re-reading you rpost you are looking for dinner.
The Plaza's dinner menu is the same, so it probably wouldn't suit you.

We had fish and chips at the take out at Rose and Crown in Epcot and thought they were very good- have you considered there?

Good luck!

Our family really enjoyed Whispering Canyon Cafe in WL. The servers are funny and there is a lot of whooping and hollering but I think it could be enjoyable for all ages. We ate there twice last year and are planning on eating there twice this year too. Breakfast we had the canyon skillet with eggs, waffles, bacon, sausage (I think) and potatoes. Dinner we had the canyon skillet again with BBQ, chicken, ribs, cowboy beans, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, and peel and eat shrimp. Yum!
When are you going in July? We just might see you there!

We really enjoyed Tusker House, San Angel Inn (Mexico), and Sci-Fi Dine-In.

We thought that the food and atmosphere were both wonderful at Tusker House. It was a wonderful way to start the day. The musical parade with the children has an energy that was just infectious!

I know that SAI has not received consistent reviews, but we really enjoyed our lunch there. The food was good, but it was the atmosphere that really sold us on the experience. How often does one have the opportunity to each "outside" on a Mexican patio at the river's edge, overlooking a volcano?

Sci-Fi Dine-In was also wonderful due to the atmosphere. The food here was good too, but we really enjoyed eating at a drive-in theatre.

There are so many wonderful places to choose from. Good luck with your decision!

My DW, three kids and myself loved Wolfgang Puck Cafe at DTD. We are definitely going to get ADR's for our trip in August. We are talking about possibly getting two ADR's for WPC - we liked it that much. The food and the atmosphere are great.

My family loves the Brown Derby. You might want to add that to your list.

Another vote for 50's Prime Time. The food was delicious and the portions are huge, I couldn't finish all of mine.
We had "Mom" as our server and she was a riot! DH got in trouble for tattling on me for having my elbows on the table (which I did not!!) and she had the entire section of the restarant say "Tattle tale, tattle tale, shame on you" to DH. He was sooo embarrassed, it was hilarious :lmao:

I see that you have none for DHS. Why not try Mama Melrose? We LOVE it. We also love Tony's at the MK, Olivia's at OKW, and the Maya Grill at CBR.

We have eaten at many of the counter services in the parks. here are some of our favorites not on your list:

Epcot: Marakesh (if you don't like safron or cumin seasonings you might not care for the food)

MGM: Mama Melrose and Brown Derby are our favorites there- 50's Prime time had good food but the wait time and noise level was too much for us

AK: we loved the Yak and Yeti

Sci Fi for the atmosphere, stick to burgers! Prime Time is also good and can be funny depending on your server.
We didn't like Whispering Canyon, but love Coral Reef and LeCellier is our favorite.
