need the real scoop for trip 1st week of June

making a trip June 2-9th. First time for kids and grandkids, 2ed for me. My other trip was blissfully end of January, cool, walked on rides, wonderful. We have to go in Summer as DS is a school teacher, but I am so worried that the parks will be so crowded that they will have a terrible time and never want to go back. Perhaps my imagination is running away with tme. How bad is it really that time of year and what can I actually really expect. You guys saved me for my last trip and here hoping for a second.
