I'm a HAFH grocery virgin. Never knew there were so many options, because we had a car at SSR in Feb. This time, we won't. Staying in a 1br villa at BWV this December.

With the free DME, I'm wondering if I should use that, combined with Wegoshop. Or does BWV have a decent selection of groceries on property? Not looking to cook any 3-course meals-- just need basics like cereal, Pop-tarts, milk, juice, deli meat, bread, fruit. How are the on-site prices compared to Wegoshop?

Or is it still better to use a service like Tiffany Town Car and do our own shopping? One advantage to this service is that we're arriving early and leaving late-- plan to hit the parks on arrival and departure days. Mears (and assuming DME) picks you up so early. What does this service cost RT?

TIA for your advice.

On site selection is VERY small and pretty expensive. For my October trip I am using wegoshop. The reviews on the DVC boards have been good!

a towncar can be $80 for both ways.

save your money.

I have promise to tell how my ME trip is going when I return.

but I have no doubt if there are problems we will heard before I leave....

You know people are faster to report problems than wonderful experience. :goodvibes

I am also having wegoshop for my groceries - I am telling them to deliver after 5:00pm so I will definitely have a room - my flight gets to Orlando at 9:30am that morning.

I'm using Gooding's for my grocery delivery after I arrive by DME.

We thought the towncar service was the way to go. It cost us $80 Roundtrip with a 30 minute grocery stop at Albertson's. We rode in air conditioned comfort with Prestige Towncar and I would definitely use them again. Ray was phenomenal and a great host.

Their prices, however, are now $90 RT---they've raised them to compete with all of the other towncar services.
