I am taking my daughter to WDW in late October for her 16th Birthday. We leave the day after her birthday. I've made arrangements for a Tinkerbell cake and decorations as well as a gift basket with night shirts, t-shirts, candy, etc.

What I need is a teen's perspective as to what else I can do to make this a trip she will never forget. We are somewhat veteran's to the parks (just there in May). This is just us two girls this trip. I know about the Birthday buttons in the parks.

Can anyone add anything else I could plan or do? Something she might want (within reason--:p )? Thanks everyone!

I know that there used to be a thing where you could be picked to dance in the parade at magic Kingdom (i believe). Sorry I dont have much more info than that, but i think that she would enjoy that, and it would definatly be specail! Prince Charming used to be one of the possibilitys to dance with!! :jester: I hope yall have a great trip!!!!

You could go to the spa at Grand Floridian if she is interested in that kind of stuff.
Also have her pick her fav place to eat and have them bring cake to the table.

You can see if there is an Eticket night and go to that. They are always fun and it is like having all of magic kingdom to yourself.

Ask her what she wants to do. Even though I've never tried any of the ideas posted here so far, they all sound great. Basicaly, whenever I go to WDW, we mianly just ride the rides, which is what we want to do. Another great idea might be taking her to Downtown Disney to do some shopping. Agirl can never get enough shopping, especially at Disney! :teeth:

Probably the best thing to do would be to tell her the ideas mentioned on this thread, and see what she wants to do. :smooth:

You could take her to Downtown Disney I think she would like that or take her to the Polynesian and go to Ohana's Hawiian restaurant!!! Hope you have good luck!!! Happy Birthday!!!:earseek:

If she's that sassy, fashionable kind of girl here's what I would want:
One full day ( with only mom!) at Downtown Disney or another great Disney shopping place! Have a full shopping day! Let her get what she wants (reasonably)! Have a girls day out with icecream, get your hair done ( maybe) have a manicure! Do something that you know your daughter loves! That is a day to remember for her whole life (and yours!)!Your the only one who knows your daughter;treasure that! It will last a lifetime! A mother and daughter friendship is wonderful! Show her that you love her!

Well, I'm 14... and just being in WDW for my birthday would be absolutely fabulous (I'm gonna be there in 6 days!!) but anyway... Downtown Disney is a must, and Planet Hollywood for dinner and maybe Rainforest Cafe for lunch would be great... they're my personal favorite Disney resturaunts... hope i helped, and if I did, I hope my help wasn't too late! =)

these are great suggestions!!!!! i am celebrating my 17th there next year, so that'll be great. i also celebrated my 14th there in 2001 but i want this one to be extra special, even better than last time (if that's even possible). i'm definitely gonna get one of those buttons this time. and if they still do that whole dancing with prince charming thing i DEFINITELY want to do that, lol!!!!! i really think aladdin hit on me last time...... but maybe it was just me, lol. great times, great times.

Rockinchica on b-day we went to the returant in the Cinderella Castle and Peter Pan hit on my cousin and u might be able to dance wit them there to
