I have a plethora or counter service and snack credits to plan. My adrs are in place, super fantastic "special" meals - Hoop De Doo, Sci Fi, Akershus, Raglan, Tusker Breakie, Biergarten and CRT!

We are sushi eaters. I don't want to give up any of my reservations for TS because they fit beautifully into my touring plans :rotfl:

Where in WDW (anywhere!) can I find CS or snack credit sushi??

Worst case I give up something (or more) for Tokyo... but I don't want to! :)

Yakatori House (the CS in Japan) has several sushi selections. Sunshine Season's sometimes has prepackaged sushi in the coolers but Yakatori is better.

There is a sushi bar at the Poly right outside of Kona Cafe. I'm dying to try it!

Update: this is probably NOT a counter service credit, though

Update 2: there is a Tuna Roll on the Wolfgang Puck Express menu! But I'm a little confused---one of the locations is on the DDP, but the other is not???

You can also find sushi in the refrigerators at Capt. Cook's at the Polynesian.

Another great sushi option is California Grill at the Contemporary. It is really, really, really good!

CS sushi is like grocery store sushi :scared: ok if you are desperate but not really on par with good sushi

My favs are:

Tokyo Dining - Love the Dynamite roll - great textures and flavor. Never been disappointed here
Kimonos - Karaoke bar at the Swan - excellant!!
CG - must have been an off night, not wowed. It was good, not great

Pucks DTD USED to be awesome, something changed a couple years ago and we have not been back
Poly - haven't tried it and haven't seen many reviews

Don't know if you have kids or not, but I would head to Kimonos one night. Or TD in Epcot. I do not know what you get for sushi on the DP at TD. Not sure it would be worth a TS credit :confused3

Good luck!

Kimonos serves the most authentic sushi on property. It's the one place I recommend for serious sushi lovers. Tokyo Dining is decent but not fantastic. I would return, but I'm in no rush.

The sushi bar adjacent to Kona Cafe is actually quite good, but it's certainly a creative spin on the cuisine.

I don
I don't eat sushi, but my dh does and he seemed to enjoy it at the wolfgang puck cafe in DTD. It is a TS there, but perhaps you could just enjoy a bite at the sushi bar-I think they had one?
Enjoy!! whatever you do...

Totally Agree....I don't think you'll find what you want with CS / Snack credits...

If you are "Sushi lovers" then you won't be happy with it... DS and I had Cali Grill Sushi and enjoyed it... but it's TS. I have pics if you want to see them...

Good luck !

I am one who just doesnt care for the grocery type sushi..Then again I prefer the specialty rolls. I plan on ordering sushi for my meal at kona and at Calli Grill, infact we booked Calli grill just for the sushi, DH and I are sharing a flatbread and dessert but both ordering our own sushi for our appetizer.

I may try the sushi at the Poly or Yakitori House if the look any good but I dont really plan on it.

Starring Rolls also has "grocery store" sushi.

DD had a fabulous sushi platter at WGP DTD was a TS credit.

If you want out of pocket then get the Kimonos gift card from Restaurants.com, use code "summer" to pay I think $2 for the $25 card, read the fine print before ordering the card to see if it works for you.
