Need suggestions for restaurant in Downtown Dis to try

We are arriving the night before and would like to try a restuarant good for a family the night before. Lat year we did the rain forest cafe at downtown and loved it . My son has been talking about a basketball theme restaurant he saw an ad for but he can't remember the name.

Anyone have any info?

We love House of Blues, and they have great burgers and Jambalaya. I've read many posts in which the writers like the noise level, so their kids can blend right in and not bother anybody.

I am not aware of a Basketball themed restaurant.

We always go to Planet Hollywood because it's my 10 year old's favorite, and because we are creatures of massive habit. It's fun and for us, a nice way to begin the vacation. If you go to their web site, they sometimes feature coupons, and we received a nice coupon for PH from one of the apparel stores at Disney MGM. I believe the web site for RainForest Cafe also occasionally features coupons, and those Entertainment coupon books have a RFC coupon in them. Hope this helps.

(I wonder if your son was thinking of ESPN restaurant....I don't think there is one at DD, but, as has happened times too numerous to count, I could be wrong.)

RainForest Cafe or Wolfgang Pucks... both are great, but you wont be sorry wherever you choose

Your son may be referring to NBA City, which is not at DD but rather in CityWalk at Universal.
