Need suggestions for cheap hotel on property for 6 in September

Need big time help trying to decide on place to stay on property for 2 families (4 adults, 2 children, girl 15 and boy 10). One family always stays at All Star and loves it - the other family usually stays at a deluxe resort. Were hoping to combine funds and stay together in one nice place, possibly with a living room and kitchen. But In trying to research, the 3 bedroom resorts are so expensive. Neither family wants to go off property. Is there something I haven't thought of to accommodate both families?

Have you thought about the villas over in the village area or the wilderness cabins at FW? The other option woul be just to get two connecting rooms at a moderate, no living or kitchen though.

Check out the DVC rent/trade board. You shouldn't have trouble getting something for september. Old key west has the most affordable rates, and you can fit 6 people in a 2 bedroom. Weekdays are 22 points, or $220/night (no tax). The weekends are a lot higher, but maybe you could split your stay or just do 5 nights there.
