DH and I are having baby #2, and although we don't know what it is yet, I want to have some names picked out. We have girls name all set, but need boys. For some reason they're really difficult. I like different names such as Parker, Mason, Rylan. Problem is DH doesn't like any of these. I figured you guys may be able to come up with some good suggestions cuz I'm tired of looking thru 10,000 names in the books and coming up with the same list. :D

Zachary was our boy choice, but we got two girls.

I love the name "Jeffrey". My first son is named that. It's masculine and good for both a small child and as a grown-up. I don't like names that are cute while the child is small, but sounds silly for a grown-up. I try to picture using the name in the big business world.

I also like names that are not commonly used but also not weird. We have one DD so her name won't help. However, several friends have boys. How about Devon, Colin, Quinn, Benjamin, Daniel or Evan?

I like Cory or Aaron for a boy. :D

I also like Hunter, cameron, Logan...names that won't hit them when they are old .......alexander.........Donavan is another new one that I like

Joel, Carter

A lot depends on the last name and how the two sound together.

There are so many boys' names I love

Jackson (that's my DS's name) ;)
Adam (his middle name, another name I just love)
Tanner
Brady
David
Scott
Benjamin
Daniel
Kevin

That's it for now...good luck choosing a name. I knew right away my first born son would be Jackson Adam. I have loved that even before I met & married DH ;)

Im partial to my boys names, Cameron Austin & Colton Ryan. If we were to have another(which we wont) he would be Dylan Craig. I too like different names, but not too different.
And for some encouraging news, when I first suggested Colton to DH(over 2 years before we even had him) DH hated the name. It grew on him over the years and in the end he was the one convincing me to go with it. So if you have your heart set on something, keep working on DH. He may have a change of heart. :D

We named our baby boy Paul, after my dad. I really like it.

Some of my other favorites are Benjamin, Samuel, Daniel, and Nathaniel. I tend to like solid, traditional names. I hate names that are trendy and cute. I also teach elementary school and if I ever see another Connor or Aidan or Cameron again I'll scream! They're nice names, but I have tons and tons of them in class right now and they all have to go by their last initials.

I always liked Nolan. I have nephews named Bailey, Carson, Zach & Kinser. I only have a DD. A couple of her friends names that are different - Bowen, Larkin, Rylan, Garrett, Jeb, Gage

Melinda

I never got to use it as I had 2 girls, but I really like Hugh, an old name but I think has lots of character.........I really liked it after reading How Green was my Valley.

I tend to like classic names, my husband does too, but with some trendier ones thrown in here and there. We named our son Daniel and we love it. I can't tell you how many Jacks, Matthews, and Connor's we have in playgroups, but Daniel seems to be the only Daniel.

We're due in April and just starting to think about names. I'm having a hard time with more boys names. My husband, on the other hand, loves Jack, Cameron, Conner, Andrew.

Its hard but it seems like when the right one hits it feels just right.

Christopher
Morgan
Hunter
Andrew
Phillip
Vincent
David
Parker[/color]

We have two boys, Luke and Drew; if we had a 3rd, his name would have been Jack.

I like one syllable names. :)

We also considered Parker. We finally went with Braden. Our first son is named Conor (Irish spelling).

Our first son is Eric. I love that name, because it is simple, but not plain.

When we named our second son Hunter, I thought it was totally unique and didn't know anyone with that name. Now it's become really trendy :( .
