Can anyone on this forum give me some great companies in which to rent a scooter from for Disney. The best price, service, ect. My MIL will need something like this for our next trip to make it really easy on her and fun. Thanks so much in advance.

If you look in the disABILITIES FAQs thread, you will find what you are looking for in post #2. The companies listed there are ones that DIS posters have used and recommended over the years.
If you don't see that thread tight away, there is a link to it in my signature.

I rented from Randy's last year and am renting from him again this year. The price is very good with no add ons, the vehicle worked great, very tight turning radius, drop off and pick up were right on time.

I rented in February from Walker Mobility, and I have nothing but the highest praise for them. My ECV lost power in MK, in back right by Dumbo. I called the Walker Mobility office on my cell phone, and within 30 minutes there was a technician from Walker Mobility pulling up on a different ECV (complete with a different charger) that he gave me.

As a side note...when you charge the ECV, make sure you turn the charger on. My battery charger at home doesn't have a switch; you plug it in, and it's on. The ECV at WDW lost power because each of the previous three nights when I thought I was charging it, I wasn't....the power switch was off. :confused3 That being said, in hindsight I'm amazed I did 3 1/2 days of park touring on one complete charge. :rotfl:

That's a good point.
My DD's power wheelchair doesn't have an on switch either. When you plug it in, it's on.
It would not occur to me that I might have to turn a charger on.

I have used Walkers and Randys and would use both again. I always call and get a price from each then make my decision. Walkers has been sending our discounts this spring, so that is who I went with for my trip 2 weeks ago and if I get another code, I will probably be using them for my June trip, unless Randy's will beat it.
