On our trip in May, we want to be at AK at opening and either ride or get a fastpass for Expedition Everest (or both), then find somewhere to eat breakfast before we leave AK. We've eaten at Donald's Breakfastosaurus and weren't particularly enthused, not for that price. It looks to me like the only other choices are Tusker House or Rainforest Cafe. Does anyone recommend either of these?

Thanks,

Rainforest Cafe!! :) It's one of my favorite restaurants not only at WDW but anywhere. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is A++ .. i've been there tons of times and never had a bad experience. I've never been to the Tusker House though.

What was wrong with Donald's Breakfastasauraus? I wanted to eat there on my upcoming trip.

Thanks for the Rainforest Cafe recommendation - the menu sounds wonderful. We found Donald's to be OK - not bad - it's been a while since we've eaten there. The food wasn't memorable, standard buffet food. I do remember our server being "funny" and the characters stopped by once, but I don't remember them doing anything to "wow" us - We had a very small table and not enough room to maneuver in - I don't know, it just sort of had a "cold" feeling" about it - not warm & airy like Chef Mickey's. Maybe we were just having an "off" day!! I hear lots of people that do like it there!! Who knows, maybe we'll give it another try this trip.
